I was Cold selfish Narc and everyone loved me
But once i found God & 'became' Orthodox suddenly many even "Open minded" folks parted ways

I was gay and my family accepted me. I was bisexual and my family accepted me. I was transgender and my family accepted me. But as I become Catholic suddenly there’s controversy and issues. There is silent disapproval and false backhanded “support” It’s us against the world.

I’ve actually watched that whole video before and as someone who’s recovering from ED he seemed to treat it with care.

Visited a healthy church in another state today…
While it was sweet to see some families worshipping together, I was grieved by how distracted parents were by their small children.
In my view, everyone would have been better served by utilizing the kids ministry.

I detransitioned about 4 months agoish, I was on “HRT” for 2 years and no surgeries by good graces.
Though even before that my heart wrestled a lot and I felt convicted every time I went to mass among other things.
I’ve been discerning catholism since 2022 and became Catholic this year.

How long has it been since you detransitioned? I understand feeling like less of a man, but at least for me that feeling has started to subside ~18 months into detransition. The priesthood is always a great option, but the church generally recommends three years after baptism before entering seminary, so assuming you’re a recent convert you have plenty of time to figure these things out. I just wouldn’t rule anything out quite yet. You never know what God has in store for you.

Part of me really wants to get married while another part of me knows I probably can’t be a father in that kind of way.
The priesthood could be possible (FSSP).
I feel like these could be the only way unless I join a religious order and just live that life either as a Dominican or Augustinian
