Barbara MacLeod, a district manager at BVSD, just graduated from the @ChefAnnFnd Healthy School Food Pathways Fellowship, which empowers school food operators to run successful scratch-cook operations that benefit students, staff, and the environment. Congratulations Barbara!

Members of our Culinary Center team recently came in 2nd in the nation in the 2023 Fall Healthy Kids Step It Up challenge!  Team "The Walking Bread," had five members who walked over 3 MILLION steps combined!

Today for Harvest of the Month we served Pizza Margherita with local basil. Some basil came from Ollin Farms and MASA Seed Foundation, and some came from the raised beds outside our very own BVSD Greenhouse! This is Miriam, our Greenhouse Manager, who grew our in-house basil!

With free meals for students coming this fall, we will turn off automatic payments to Mypaymentsplus on 5/25. To continue making automatic payments, you will need to reset your auto pay settings after 5/25. To stop making automatic payments, you do not need to do anything.
