On Thursday 17 December 2025 our Year 11 GCSE French pupils went on a trip to the Institute Français where they developed language skills and learnt about French culture. #weareshirley

It was really nice to see so many of our students enjoying Christmas dinner and participating in Christmas jumper day on Friday 12 December 2025. A total of £120 was raised for charity #weareshirley

Our 6th form Media students soar to new heights! Year 12s embraced new technology and teamed up with a licensed drone user to gain ambitious footage for their very own 6th Form promotional video!  🎥 🎬 #shs6thform

Adwoa Ayensu, a Senior Lecturer from Kingston University was keen to meet our 6th Form students this term. Our students who are currently applying for degrees in nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy and occupational health through UCAS, left feeling totally inspired and informed!
