Floyd County Schools K-8 Teachers are spending time during their summer working on the ELA Curriculum today! These teachers work hard all year to ensure our students receive the best curriculum possible!

At a board meeting on Monday, July 8th, 2024, the Floyd County Board of Education appointed Larry Hammond as the interim superintendent beginning July 22nd, 2024. Mr. Hammond was previously a superintendent in the Rockcastle County school district and has worked for KDE.
