Your life ended much too soon, but you filled our lives with so much love and the greatest moments. We will forever be thankful for being your parents.

Bueller just turned 8 last month and we want to make sure he gets to celebrate many more bdays. Mom and dad take turns sleeping with him through the night to help him adjust his body or go outside.😮💨❣️ We are doing all we can to make him comfortable and happy

Bueller graduated chemo & now needs to continue his treatment at home. We are trying to help with his supplements that aren’t covered by his insurance. And asking @nationwidepet to reconsider not canceling his plan when he needs the most!

We have been on a race to figure out Bueller’s care. Osteosarcoma waits for nothing. It takes hold and keeps going like a freight train. How do you stop a freight train?! Well, we’re gonna do our best for Bueller. He is on medication and supplements to help with the pain and help his body be healthier. He is now on high protein low carbohydrate food and treats. Carbs can give cancer energy. We are finalizing a regular schedule of physical therapy and acupuncture appointments at Resurgence Veterinary Mobility. The week of Nov. 17th, he is going for SRT radiation treatments at Pet Cure Oncology in Jacksonville, FL. No one does this in Atlanta right now, so we’ll travel. SRT stands for “Stereotactic Radiation Therapy.” It’s a fancy kind of treatment that uses special beams of energy to zap just that tiny trouble spot. These beams are super precise, like a tiny laser pointer that only focuses on the lump and not the rest of the dog. It’s so exact that it can treat the bad cells without hurting a lot of the healthy cells nearby. So, after several sessions, this radiation can shrink or even make the lump disappear without putting your dog through surgery. And finally, the week of Dec 1st, we are enrolling him in the clinical trial for the “Yale Vaccine.” Again, no one is doing it here in Atlanta, so we will be taking him to northern Virginia where he will get injections of the EGFR/HER2 vaccine, which is a therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by researchers at Yale University. It has shown very promising results in treating certain types of cancer, like Osteosarcoma. We are out of breath. We are overwhelmed. We are frantic. We are so incredibly sad. We got the results yesterday from Bueller’s biopsy that he does have Osteosarcoma. 😞 Our vets all prepped us for this awful news, but we were still hopeful that they would be wrong. They outlined that he has about 3 more months with us, so he will be getting loads of attention
