@mrsjjee I actually am a better teacher at school. I teach science and ALL of my equipment and activities are at school. Our district realized the strain they were putting on teachers with young kids and reassigned school employees who didn't have students with the teacher's kids.
Sunflowers are heliotropic, they follow the sun as they day goes on. Here they are waiting for the sun to peak over the High School building. Just like our students, waiting for us to get on line with them! 😁🌻
How does your garden grow? With baby pumpkins, tomatoes, a bunch of basil, cucumbers, and this thing called a trumpette squash! Hancock HS School Garden misses it's kiddos. #hpsdtigers#hphstigers
We lost a dear dear friend today. Steve Caughron was a Vietnam Vet, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the Lord and made it his mission to share the good news. We will miss him greatly. 😢 My heart is so sad.
Thanks to all of those who came to the SLACKERS (St. Louis Area Chemistry Knowledge Educational Resource Sharers) meeting Wednesday night at Hancock High School. We observed electron spectrums, made spectrographs, shared labs, and activities. #chemistry#hphschemistry
Let me introduce you to the Dresso Expresso Coffee Cart. Students take orders, organize, and deliver coffee and sweet treats to staff members once a week. This experience gives these students several learning opportunities. #Whywefly#lindberghlearns@DresselFlyers
Thanks Gateway Greening, Nick Speed, for showing us how to vermicompost! The Botany class at HPHS is setting up their own worm bins to learn about worm composting and how to make their own fresh organic soil. Got some compost! We'll eat your garbage!
