“How and why does the ice cream change?” - Focus question for model unit on states of matter using multiple representations. 🍦😀

The teachers get to play the role of 1st and 2nd grade teachers for this exercise and really see what it is like for a learners to engage in the kind of representationally supported inquiry we are hoping to promote.

Day 2 of summer PD starting in Indiana, and rumor has it we'll be working with ice cream as a way to explore states of matter, representations of states of matter, and other great stuff!!
