#OnThisDay 1967 the Survey ship HMS DAMPIER returned to @DockyardChatham under sail. Whilst returning to UK after nearly 20 years in Singapore, she lost her starboard shaft off Africa and with 3000 miles to run decided to rig sails to gain an extra 1/2 Knot to get home for Xmas.

The result of brake failure into Hawthornes, scariest thing that's ever happened to me on a bike having to jump off at 160mph. Just feel lucky to walk away unscathed and no one else was caught up in it! Thanks to the Marshall's and medics from @OfficialBSB

Thanks for all the support throughout 2020. A bit of a dream year without the fairytale ending! Looking back 15 months ago my mental health had hit rock bottom and I was lost, I never dreamed of this season being so strong whilst having my family back. Hats off to @JoshBrookes

Worked my ass of today, got to the front and thoroughly enjoyed the race! We need to improve in some area to fight for the podium at brands hatch! All to play for tomorrow again on the new Honda Fireblade!

Great days' racing yesterday with a 7th, 8th, 13th and pole position!  Only a week since I had the arm pump operation so I wasn't sure how it would be but to lead a BSB race for my first time ever was just beyond anything I expected!  PT 1/2
