I really tried to mind my business… but this has been going on ALL afternoon. The guy across the street is out here doing yard work completely shirtless like this is a beach or something 😐 Meanwhile… families are walking by, kids are riding bikes, people are outside enjoying their day… and this just feels so out of place. Like I get it, it’s your house… but it’s also a shared neighborhood space. There’s a certain level of basic awareness that should come with that. After HOURS of it, it just feels unnecessary. I already made a formal complaint so there’s at least a record, because clearly ignoring it wasn’t working. Hopefully it doesn’t continue, because it’s honestly just uncomfortable for everyone around. Am I overreacting or would this bother you too?? 👀

@KhanSaba1278 This guy was working my yard and I took the picture through my front doorway just to illustrate the truth about how to stay cool. I learned it growing up in a German farming community in south-central Texas. I screenshot the temperature right after taking his picture.

@KhanSaba1278 Some guys think it’s cooler, and in shade it may be, but when they are in the sunshine and do it, they are just ignorant of the principle of evaporative cooling. You might show him this picture of a professional outdoors worker who knows how to stay cool. This is normal.

I’m sorry for anyone upset I don’t have sympathy for people who CHOOSE to end the life of their child for being disabled. They didn’t lose thier child. Their child would have lived had they not m*rdered them. Why in the world would my sympathy go to them when they chose it? My sympathy is for the child who suffered BUT My prayers are for the repentance of the parents. That’s all I got sorry.

@Avabelly__ Consider it a gift from God to you, not to the thrift store. If He had wanted them to have it they would have found it. Any idea of it being returned to the person who put it into the bag is just a pipe dream.

I found this in a handbag I thrifted yesterday. I didn't notice it until today. I wonder if I should go and let the thrift shop know. One of my friends says I definitely should return it. I told her I don't think I need to, but she insists she knows what she's talking about because she used to work as a thrift store manager before. Should I return it? Warm weather is back, and so is my neighbor’s shirtless yard work routine 😬 I get it, it’s hot out and people want to be comfortable while mowing or working in their own yard. At the same time, when it’s going on for hours in full view of the street, it can feel a little awkward for people walking or driving by. I’m not trying to make it a big issue or tell anyone what they can do on their own property. It’s more just one of those “neighborhood courtesy” things, I guess. Would you say something about it, or just let it go?
