@ThomasByrneTD But I thought you too were a TD. So how come you're never even in the country? You spend your whole time getting photographed with Eurodroids or spreading propaganda against the government of a fellow EU colony. What are MEPs for ffs?

Not a fan of protests/blockades I remember the miners' strikes. These actions are a symptom of a population that feels so utterly let down by those they allegedly elected and a so called opposition which is hiding perhaps in a tent or cardboard box in Gaza.

@dailybritainonx It's to be decided by the biggest con artist in history is it? Just over 80 years ago Ukraine was complicit in the murder of millions of Jews at the behest of the Nazis. Now they want us to join the fourth reich with unelected frau fuhrer Dan de Lion.

63% of Brits already want to rejoin the EU. Now the president of Ukraine - who knows more about Russian military power than almost anyone alive - is calling for the UK to come back in. Is this the moment the rejoining argument becomes impossible to ignore?

@keira_con @damonrgraves Now that really would be a case of biting off your nose to spite your face. Very childish behaviour usually seen in people unable to get out of a corner.

Yesterday I spoke with Lebanon’s FM @YoussefRaggi I am appalled by Israel’s brutal attacks across Lebanon, with over 200 dead. These attacks are unacceptable and must stop. A ceasefire must be upheld by all parties and extended to Lebanon.

@ThomasByrneTD Whatever are you doing poking your snout into Irish politics? I thought you had been seconded into the Hungarian election rigging team as a propaganda officer. Long way from your cheery meetings and photo ops with all the other Eurodroids or is the gravy train out of diesel?

Just been listening to Peter Burke on the radio. A barrel of eels. I think he needs a bit more wriggle room. He certainly knows how to let the cat out of the bag with regard to our "sovereignty" the IMF and how we have to petition Europe for permission to even wipe our arses.

Today marks the 45th anniversary of the epoch defining election of Bobby Sands as the abstentionist MP for Fermanagh & South Tyrone. “They won't break me because the desire for freedom, and the freedom of the Irish people, is in my heart. The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show. It is then that we will see the rising of the moon.”

Old eejit poets never die. The former President of Ireland rejected calls for increased Irish strength and lethality during an address at the INTO annual conference in Killarney and praised the teaching union’s Global Citizen Initiative. thejournal.ie/michael-d-higg…

Only in Ireland where elections mean nothing but the same old flimsy coalition could these two clowns survive a crisis. Which clown will be the first to jump? Neither because it would mean an election and everyone knows what the result of that is years in advance.
