@badanglebball Players don’t draw fouls. They are fouled. The active person is the fouler, not the guy getting fouled. Spurs would prefer nobody foul him so he can crush all your teams.

@mdotbrown Wemby has been fouling too, before this. It’s not politicking. He was on camera, he even got caught by the refs surprisingly, and he got less the bare minimum punishment. He straight up assaulted someone. 99% of the NBA gets suspended with a fine. People want consistency.

(Wolves been pushing Wemby in the back and going at his legs all series. The plan is clearly to get aggressive. Then he gets surrounded and elbowed in the head. He got mad and threw one back. Thats it. Stop politicking for once and celebrate the physical basketball you asked for)

@JonKrawczynski Probably a good thing that I’m not anybody’s editor. But I don’t think shoving around Wemby until he snaps is really a profile in courage. It seems to me when the NBA gets a dominant big man, it always thinks it needs to “even things up” by letting shorter guys pummel him.

Face down on the court after the foul he committed on a rebound went uncalled and Wembanyama unwisely took matters into his own hands, Naz Reid realized he had just found a way to get his team back into the series. Fixed that for ya.
