@kaaaash____ The user experience, the battery life, the performance and the ecosystem. After 25 years of using mostly windows for games and work (I tried an intel macbook pro a while back but it was bad). I switched to Apple silicon 5 years ago, never looked back.

Why is everyone so obsessed with MacBook? Clean design, smooth performance..or just the hype?

@SMcloughli24864 I disagree, Andor is the most praised Star Wars show and yet, you don't see any original SW character. When the universe has enough potential, you can tell many stories and there's still a lot to unravel about the Dessendre family as it is without altering the ending you chose

Good, it shouldn't. Games need to stop having choices if they're not going to respect them in the future. This also means the Clair Obscur sequel most likely won't be about the Dessendre family either, interesting!

@azuReeFX @Capetlevrai Sur les gros exports, le air va faire du throttling, c'est certain. Mais bon, si ta timeline est fluide quand tu fais le montage, si ça prends 15 minutes de plus à l'export est ce que c'est vraiment dramatique? Tu es le seul à connaître la réponse :)

Honnetement je vois quasi plus aucune utilité à acheter un PC sous Windows entre 700€ et 1700€ quand les Macbook Neo, Air M2 et Air M4 / Pro M4 existent. Car l'ARM a tellement évolué qu'on peut meme faire un peu de Gaming sur Mac, l'ordi fait aucun bruit et ça chauffe pas. Les Mac ont une meilleure batterie, un meilleur écran, meilleure finition touchpad et clavier. Tout est hors de prix sur les environnement Windows / Linux alors qu'Apple arrivent à proposer des prix excellents. Je suis très sérieux a part si tu trouves un deal de dingue au cas par cas pour Windows / Linux si je devais prendre un PC Portable aujourd'hui j'irai prendre un Mac. A Dubai un Macbook Air M2 16 Go a 256 Go de SSD ça se touche à 3050 AED ça fait 720€ Je préfère 100 fois l'écran et le clavier du Macbook Air M2 que du nouveau Macbook Neo et pour 3050 AED t'as 16 Go de RAM contre 8 sur le Neo Dites moi ou je trouve un banger pareil à 720€ sur Linux ou Windows ?

Internal push to end Windows 11’s Microsoft Account rule I get why people are fed up with the Microsoft account requirement during Windows 11 setup. Plenty of folks just want to use their PC without jumping through hoops, and the frustration is real. Yes, Apple and Google do the same thing, but that does not magically make it feel better for Windows users who never asked for this shift. At the end of the day, it is on Microsoft to show why having an MSA actually benefits people. If the company wants this to be the default path, it has to prove the value, not assume it. (1/2)

@pavandavuluri I installed windows for the first time in 5 years yesterday, it took 90 minutes in 800x600, it takes me less than 20 minutes to install linux, in full resolution (yeah because they pack basic hardware accelerated drivers from the get go), whatever you do, it won't be enough.

@roge_jules J'ai utilisé le macbook air M1 de mon fils avec 8go pendant 3 semaines en déplacement. J'ai retouché 400 photos (vrai travail pro, fichiers raw de 40~50mo par photo) capture one + photoshop, 0 lag. Ces tests sont débiles, ce n'est pas représentatif. d'un usage normal.

Peu importe la machine et peu importe les usages, 8Go de Ram ça ne suffit pas en 2026.

@geekedout__ agreed, mine has been plugged 98% of the time since I got it in July 2024 and I've used it around 15h a day since then almost every day.

Keeping your MacBook plugged in DOES NOT ruin the battery health.

They can also expand the universe outside of the Dessendre Family, other paintings / painters, the writers... The universe is big enough

@kalaelizabeth How tho? Didn’t the ending establish nothing was real and all the people were just some depressed womans fantasy scape? And the “good” ending is her moving on and all the people who aren’t her family being erased? Where do you even go from there?

@IGN Technically, Expedition 33, is the end of the Clair Obscur storyline in that painting. And they have a LOT of expeditions to choose from for future games. Even then, there's probably other paintings with different painters to expand the universe.

@Monsieurpix bah écoute, il y a eu pas mal d'infos à ce sujet depuis la réaction des gens, et apparemment ce sera bien le cas. ils peuvent choisir ou sera appliqué l'effet ou non, l'intensité, etc et pourront vraiment forcer l'apparence des personnages. On verra !

@AdresanSoso Quand on voit tous les 3008 à plus de 40 000€ sur la route, bien plus de gens qu'on ne croit. Les voitures neuves, sont les occasions de demain... Sur mon VE, 20 000km par an, je fais entre 150 et 200€ d'économies de carburant par mois. Sans parler l'absence d'entretien.

Qui a les moyens de s'acheter une voiture électrique à 25 000€ en sachant que la technologie sera surement dépassée dans 2 ans et quelle sera peut être invendable ou au rabais ?
