Endoscopic appearance of cricopharyngeal bar in a patient with dysphagia and inability to advance the upper endoscope. It can sometimes be mistaken for a “Zenker diverticulum” because of the space above the shelf (commonly coexist) #Endoscopy #GITwitter #MedTwitter

Mechanistic debate emerging around anti- IL-23 and FcγRI/CD64 binding in IBD A study (Sachen KL et al 2025) suggested guselkumab may gain additional activity through Fc-mediated binding to CD64+ myeloid cells producing IL-23 A new study now challenges whether this mechanism is actually physiologically relevant in vivo pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC13… A few thoughts and I would love to read yours too

❓ What best predicts liver dysfunction after locoregional therapy in HCC patients? @LTxJournal 👉 Liver function scores (MELD, MELD-Na, bilirubin) outperformed tumor and demographic variables, with MELD showing the highest discrimination for both 30- and 90-day outcomes.  👉 Retrospective cohort study by Agins et al. has recently been published in Liver Transplantation.  Predicting Severe Liver Dysfunction After Locoregional Therapy for HCC  DOI: doi.org/10.1097/LVT.00… @AASLDtweets @ILCAnews @EASLnews @myESMO  #HCC  #LocoregionalTherapy #MELD #LiverDysfunction
