In Dhirikula village of Mayurbhanj, Odisha, a stray dog named Kali gave her life to save more than 30 school children. A poisonous snake was crawling toward children sitting outside their school. Kali sensed the danger and attacked the snake immediately. She killed it — but the snake bit her during the fight. She died soon after. Villagers performed her last rites and called her the protector of their children. While television studios and agenda-driven “experts” keep screaming about a so-called dog menace, they never show stories like this — because heroism from a stray dog doesn’t fit their nefarious dog hate propaganda. A street dog saw danger, acted instantly, and died protecting human children. For users who don't want to run their own infra, I've been thinking about deploying hosted instances in the EU & US. Log in, trade, deploy — no setup required. Nothing set in stone yet, but it's on the table.
Fee would likely land around 0.1-0.2% (still ~5-10x less than what current platforms charge).
$trenchtools holders who don't want to self host would get discounted access, and potentially free access above a certain hold threshold.
The core stack will always stay open source and free to self-host. The hosted service would simply be my way of getting reimbursed for the time I'm putting in — without being extractive.
Down the line I may add an optional engine-side tax users can toggle on to help fund development and ship new features. 100% opt-in, not coming anytime soon.
The goal is simple: make trading and deploying on Solana accessible to everyone — with affordable, non-extractive fees, and no forced middleman.

Honestly, I’m still optimistic. With that amount of fees, is it really possible they won’t claim it? I think it’s just a matter of time. And like you can see from my comments, I’ve also already DM’d Openfang.

every new "agent framework" is just another python wrapper around langchain pretending to be an OS.
openfang is actually written in rust from scratch. works offline, runs on a pi if you want!
