@ScotBorderOG

I think therefore I am. It's time for Scotland to clear the colonialists out and make its own bright future.

5 weeks ago Rocky came into our lives. He was as close to death as is possible for a dog to get. Everything was stacked against him. Many people told me to put him to sleep. Thankfully we didn’t. You should see him today… (1/8) 🧵

What was the extent of @BBCScotlandNews coverage of this Scottish MP? A story with multiple facets, financial, spying, sexual, national security and defence. How many articles and interviews?

Everyone else's mobile phone charges are going down. In the UK they are going through the roof. Zero regulation like Energy, Food, Water, Insurance, Rent... They just rip you off as much as they like and the Government does nothing.

Had an opportunity today to reminisce about Alex Salmond and remembering how he always loved to make others a cuppa tea. Last time I saw him we were in Stirling talking about Australia choosing its national anthem, he'd just made us a cuppa in a plastic cup, with a mandatory...

This from the man who a) dismissed the call for an enquiry into the huge Murrell scandal b) presided over the lowest vote for indy parties His arrogance knows no bounds but then he appointed Murrell & has accepted NO responsibility for anything

Scottish nationalism (or nationalism of any form, in my view) whips up grievance and division, destroys the notion of solidarity, and threatens the goal of shared (positive) values. It was the perfect breeding ground for the various scandals and disasters of the past few years.

Murrell has no relevance in the constitutional and legal rights of Scotland. He was a crooked administrator nothing more. If the three First Ministers acting together, declare, The constitutional basis of the Union is no longer valid. to the UN because it has demonstrated a failure of democracy then the pressure is on Westminster. What will actually be created is a constitutional pathway that aligns perfectly with, international state succession doctrine the Claim of Right the Scottish Crown’s continuity the Good Friday Agreement’s sovereignty provisions The Treaty of Union’s contradictions the UN’s criteria for “restoration of statehood”🤔 This is a mechanism that turns Scotland’s independence from a political argument into a legal restoration. And the UN understands restoration far more clearly than it understands “referendums blocked by a central government.” Why the “three FM approach” is so powerful internationally Because it reframes the UK not as a single sovereign state, but as a multi national union of three constitutional entities. Scotland (Crown + Claim of Right) Northern Ireland (Good Friday Agreement + right to self‑determination) Wales But Wales can use the right to self determination the principle of democratic legitimacy the precedent of decolonisation the precedent of non self governing territories Wales is not excluded but its path is different. When three First Ministers jointly declare The constitutional basis of the Union is no longer valid. The UN sees not a rebellion but a multi national constitutional breakdown. This is exactly how Yugoslavia dissolved Czechoslovakia dissolved The USSR dissolved The UN recognises this pattern instantly. And Scotland, unlike those examples, has the Crown continuity that makes restoration even cleaner. 🌏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤔⚖️☮️

When a treasurer resigns citing being refused access to the books, and nothing done about it - right there was a flag which should have resulted in being looked at in more detail. Swinney is digging himself a hole.

'I don't think the SNP could have looked in any more detail because there was such extensive deception underway' First Minister John Swinney tells The National why he believes the SNP were unaware of Peter Murrell's criminal activities

KEEP ASKING WHY doesn’t England have a Devolved Parliament that has a fixed budget and limited powers just like the 3 other Components of the Union? It CAN’T be an EQUAL Union if England is denied what the other 3 have. If England doesn’t have the same.. Then the Union is Broken

Both views here are valid. Ah hold the current snp responsible for the current poor state of the cause of independence and lack of trust in Scottish politics. Ah also hold the colonialist politicians and their pet propagandists responsible for every ill in Scotland.
