You know when you're already feeling super emotional because there's a pandemic on and you might not see your parents at Christmas again and then you receive a surprise book from a friend through the post and it tips you over the edge? That. @ScottCould ❤️🥺

So yeah don’t disagree with the central thrust of this but I really worry it adds to the deeply unhelpful stigma around medication. (7/7)

And we also shouldn’t overlook how upsetting, isolating and harmful an experience it can be to be told to go for a run or do yoga when you’re experiencing a crisis. (6/7)

Gunna raise my head above the mental health parapet to say this is a really good and considered thread. My biggest frustration with stuff like this is it feeds into a narrative that meds are a “quick fix” or an “easy way out.” (1/7)

Not even 72 hours into British Summer Time, I’m in shorts and the people over the road are having an actual real-life bbq. I’m not used to this level of debauchery.
