@MaineMurf @ColinKeane_ Because he is a ball hog, choking, no handles player.
English

@ColinKeane_ Jaylen Brown is about the only sure thing that they have going into next season. Every other player on the roster has some questions about their game or their health. Why would you trade Jaylen Brown?
English

@ColinKeane_ I would move brown while he is at his all-time high. Now is the time.
English

@Steviesocali @isaiiahx They’re not real fans? Third level analytics? All you need to do is use your eyes. They went on their massive run with his ass on the bench. They played better with him on the bench. Maybe you’re blind and don’t understand basketball. That’s not a great combination.
English

@isaiiahx No, dummy. The ball moved better, the defense was more aggressive, and they weren’t turning it over. If his +/- was good, you’d be saying the opposite. Sit down.
English

@airmanish7 @DanKelley66 @ShaktiArgentina And that IQ is as low as they come. You would think with all his years in the NBA at least something would sink in. It has not.
English

@DanKelley66 @ShaktiArgentina Not one person has questioned his heart, only his basketball IQ
English

@StoolGreenie Ain’t nobody said start Garza or Harper. Why would you start a starting line that has played 0 min in game 7?? You never want to criticize the Celtics fan boy
English

I don't really get this. All series people cried for "adjustments!" "more Baylor!" "more Garza!" etc.
Then they got the adjustment, and it didn't work, so they quickly changed course. Playing those guys didn't have anything to do with how poorly Jaylen started the game imo, which played a factor in their early hole
This is the thing about "adjustments". It's a nice buzzword, but without execution, they don't mean dick

I may never get over Joe Mazzulla’s Game 7 starting lineup decision. Down your best player, just to toss away the 1st quarter of an elimination game. Celtics just scrambled playing catch-up rest of the way. Was it arrogance? Desperation? Grady Little was fired for less.
English

@StoolGreenie Adjustments by having a ridiculous starting five?? I think a lot of of us real basketball people wanted the adjustments to be made on the Embiid/maxey pick and roll. To be made on the one dimensional iso ball and chuck and duck 3s…. Starting Garza and Harper was just dumb.
English

@Savageboston Most important player is number 7 and he’ll carry us tonight like he did all year
English

@deliberatepix It’s also why they won’t win another championship with this group. That one style of play doesn’t work in the playoffs.
English

The Celtics had the fifth most efficient offense in NBA history shooting all these threes. You can't get upset when a handful don't go down. Yes, it's the playoffs. Yes, it's Game 7. But they're not here without playing this way.
Celtics on CLNS@CelticsCLNS
.@RealBobManning asked Joe Mazzulla if the Celtics became too reliant on jump shots into the postseason: "No ... love the looks that we got, love the process that we had but I hate the result."
English

@PerSources They were favored in six of the seven games. They were the two seed. Let’s not change history.
English

If u take JB off the team they would been horrible & if he didn’t play in the playoffs they woulda got swept… yall don’t understand analytics fr just be saying shit
APHoops@APH00PS
Crazy stat: Jaylen Brown has now recorded a negative net rating swing in six of his nine playoff appearances. For most of his career, the Celtics have statistically been a better team when he is off the floor.
English

@TGTatum4_3 Do you actually WATCH the games? He's a "me-first" ball hog.
English

@TGTatum4_3 Trade him. His value is at an all-time high. Trade him.
English

@JustinmTurpin @WEEI This is the right attitude. It that makes you mad or upset - that’s a you problem.
English

Jaylen Brown:
“No feelings of regret whatsoever. Obviously, we would have liked to close it out … Philadelphia is a good basketball team, and they've gotten better since the regular season… It's the playoffs. We knew it was going to be a fight, and we didn't expect nothing less. Nothing to hang our head over. We’ve got no regrets. I don't think my teammates should have any regrets. We had good games. We had bad games. That's the story line. And we had an opportunity to win the night, and we just came up short.”
English

@JustinmTurpin Cool. He made history. The first team in Celtics’ history to choke when up 3-1…. But, as long as he scores 30 points, I guess everything is good.
