@ChrisMWilliams Fran brought Iowa back from the depths of hell (after Lick). He worked his tail off and was a good coach who had some good years. But in the end a change was needed. I think it worked for both parties.

Fran McCaffrey had 4 NCAA Tournament wins at Iowa in 15 years. Ben McCullum has 3 in 6 days.
