Source: SMU star B.J. Edwards is set to return for SMU after missing the last five games and will be available for the NCAA Tournament. He hasn’t played since Feb. 25 with an ankle injury. He’s averaging 12.7 points and 4.9 assists per game.

This is Pure Gold. I had the pleasure of spending time with Coach Holtz. I wanted to hear him explain his Three Rules for Life! 1) Do what’s right - trust. 2) Do everything to the best of your ability- commitment. 3) Show people you care - love. It’s pretty simple. He goes on to highlight why the transfer portal is ruining college football. The kids are losing out on the life lessons learned- how to persevere, how to be committed to a program and a group of people. You miss out on the bonds you create over 4 years. If you leave, you still have the problem, you are changing the address. These are words to live by.

@BallogyApp Most definitely would choose defense, for all the reasons you’ve outlined. Connected defense generally reveals culture. Defense is a science, offense is an art. It’s more difficult to teach offense. Toughness is built around defense and the tougher team always wins!!

30 years ago? Try 10. Everyone loves going for 2-point conversion and on 4th down. But, I commented that all they had to do was take the 7-points in the 3rd and there wouldn’t have been a pass to drop late in the game. I guess we’ve been doing it wrong for 100-years?

@barstoolsports 30 years ago coaches didn't chase points in the 3rd quarter. If those two failed 2-point conversions were extra points this game likely goes to OT.
