@FreddieandHD why is no one giving Zach Wilson another shot? Rodgers was statistically way worse with the Jets than Wilson. It was the franchise as much as the fact Wilson was throw into the fire too early. He can throw, mobile and he’s young. Why no looks? Something I’m missing?

@espnbob That’s just crazy. Perhaps they’re considering it now but no chance, IMO, it gets implemented simply because of the classic “where do you draw the line” factor. That would be a big mistake for them to try to control this or any part of the strategic efforts on the field.

What’s next, pitchers can’t throw a curve ball to a guy who can’t hit a deuce to save his life? Are you going to tell a team they can’t foul Ben Simmons because he sucks at free throws? Nope!

@espnbob @BartAndHahn @ESPNNY98_7FM @ESPNRadio Plus, remember the shift typically happens when no one is on base. Otherwise, shortstop and 2B have to hold runners on and be @ double play depth. It happens so rarely it’s not worth fussing with. If a guy is hitting .180 because of a shift, he’ll learn to hit or lose his spot.
