Two small, but extremely significant dots! After 5 years asking, the Police have agreed @yorkracecourse can provide marshals along the route across the Little Knavesmire to help get race goers safely back into town. We may need to tweak it as we go but this is really good news!

@BethanVincent I got my card from Tom himself (I'm a user # in the low hundreds) and remembered asking him at the time how it was going to make money long term. The innovations have been copied and they struggle, as Metro does, to lend money. Look at P2P struggling with Covid too.
