After five years, ScottRoberts.org has a completely new look. I rebuilt the site completely from the ground up to make it faster, cleaner, easier to navigate, and better equipped for the years ahead. There are new features, a redesigned homepage, an improved reading experience, and much more. I also share why this redesign marks the launch of Faithful Web & AI Care. Take a look: scottroberts.org/redesign-of-sc…

Jesus fulfilled over 300+ Biblical prophecies. Healed the sick, cast out demons, commanded authority over nature and raised the dead. Crucified. Resurrected. Ascended. Exalted.

The world has a skewed view of Mondays. They lament its arrival. For the Christian, Monday isn't the end of something worth looking forward to. It's the beginning of another week of serving Christ. Another week to work hard and glorify God in the ordinary moments of life. Don't dread Monday. Steward it well. Grab a coffee or tea and praise God! Every day belongs to the Lord. Colossians 3:23-24

One of the greatest evidences that Christianity is true is this: The Bible doesn't flatter its heroes. Noah gets drunk. Abraham lies. Moses loses his temper and murders someone. David commits adultery and murder. Peter denies Christ. Thomas doubts. Paul calls himself the chief of sinners. Ancient myths make their heroes larger than life. Scripture tells the truth about mankind because its purpose isn't to exalt men. It's to exalt Christ.

My entire timeline is full of only 3 things: 1. Lindsey Graham’s death and the ensuing conspiracy theories 2. A poor old man getting tossed 12 feet into the air by a buffalo 3. Connor McGregor blowing his knee in first round of the most hyped UFC fight of the year.

@Glen_Ring We definitely NEED to know theology. We can't drink spiritual milk all of our lives We need to advance to spiritual meat. Now, our dependence on God needs to be child-like, as if we are relying on our heavenly Father for everything, because we are.

@ScottRoberts Not enough to know it, gotta live it. Frankly don't really HAVE to know it to live it - if you can embrace the faith of a child.

A love of theology is useless if it does not produce an orderly life in full submission to Christ.

Muhammad will bow before Jesus Christ. The Dalai Lama will bow before Jesus Christ. Richard Dawkins will bow before Jesus Christ. Every king, every ruler, every false teacher, and every one of us will bow before Jesus Christ. The only question is whether we bow now in joyful faith, or then in final judgment.

@ShinarSquirrel Correct. The main reason anyone would want to deny it is because they would have to point the finger back to themselves, as we all want to see ourselves as inherently good.

How strong is my belief in the doctrine of the Total Depravity of Man? I lock my car 50 miles up a dirt road in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.

John, many evangelicals appreciate William Lane Craig's aplogetics, but criticize him for embracing Molinism, which they believe weakens God's exhaustive sovereignty, and a silly concept he made up called "mytho-history," which many see as blurring the line between historical events and literary symbolism in Genesis chapters 1-11. Admirable apologist. But poor theology.

So I hear that William Lane Craig is writing a systematic theology. Yeah, I'll not be buying that one.
