The other thing is Wemby just a year ago had a potential life altering scare with the blood clot. It could've ended his career, but it changed his mentality to live in the moment & not waste it.
He knows him & his team are good enough to win a title NOW. He's not wasting that.

Wemby is a great motivator. After going with a next-game mentality as a team, you gotta realize there is no next game. These guys don't care about next season. They worked their asses off all year to get to this point and anything short is a disappointment. I love it.

Agree with Amin of NBAradio. If OKC advances they pummel Knicks in 5. If Spurs win, we have ourselves a great series where legitimately either team has a shot. Knicks won't be able to handle OKC way Spurs have done. Knicks are fortunate they didn't have to face Boston or Detroit.

I’m seeing a lot of misinformation about Victor Wembanyama’s pregame outfit, even from major American media. @hugo_levay asked the player directly, and Wemby confirmed it was an outfit for Eid al-Adha, the Muslim celebration happening this week, not a monk’s robe.
PS: Wembanyama is not Muslim, at least, the last time I asked him, he said he didn’t identify with any particular religion.

I hope we see John Goble as one of the three refs Saturday, perhaps the crew chief. He reffed in game 1 with Zarba, and was solid. Please no Marc Davis who ref'ed gm 3. I think we're in the clear from Foster and Brothers since they refereed in games 4 and 5 respectively

@EricSal_7 Inexpressibly proud. Hopeful the NBA sends us another solid crew of refs, and lets players decide the outcome fully, as they did tonight. NBA fans worldwide want and deserve Knicks vs Spurs. Ethical and pure hoops. Not more of these flopping, foul baiting frauds. Let's get it!

Obviously didn't c it happening quite like this but my series prediction of Spurs in 7 looking good. These two have been league's best all season. Fitting it comes down to one game. Still believe this is true FINALS.

This WCF is the true FINALS. These are the two best teams in the association. Spurs are deeper with better shooting, defense, and more skilled and dynamic guards, but Shai, OKC's experience, foul baiting prowess, and home court advantage will make it razor close. Spurs in 7!
