On Saturday night, I had one of the most surreal moments of my life. At the One Voice Awards in London, I was awarded 'Male Voiceover of the Year 2024' and it is honestly one of the proudest achievements of my life. To top it off, I also won the award for 'Best Male Audio Drama Performance' which is the icing on the cake. Not only that, but I also feel so, so, SO incredibly proud to call so many of my fellow nominees and colleagues here this week, my friends. You are all AMAZING. Also, a huge congratulations to the incredible @LeonieJanaS for winning 'Female Voiceover of the Year', too! What an absolute legend. #onevoiceawards #ova24 #ovc24 #voiceover #voiceactor

Could you imagine delivering a new refrigerator by yourself on a dolly. You arrive at the home, you are pulling it along a sloped walkway while trying to avoid cars in the garage and in the driveway. The customer acts like she’s guiding you where to go because your visibility is limited. She failed to mention the concrete leading to the garage has an uneven ridge and in a blink of an eye the fridge comes smashing onto the ground. Was it the delivery man’s job for doing it alone and not using a strap for the dolly, or did the homeowner set him up for failure?

This woman was excited for her new appliances. She ordered a new washer and dryer, and a stove to be delivered right away from Lowe’s. She also purchased a new fridge to be delivered in a month because she had to modify the cabinet for fitment. Come delivery day, she was at work, and her son was home for the delivery. He didn’t know what was coming and in what order, he was only there to let the in. Not only did they deliver the fridge that wasn’t supposed to be there until a month later, they dented it in many spots. They forgot to deliver the stove and the dryer altogether. The washer was never hooked up, in fact the snapped off the water connectors in the back too. So now they have to go to the garage for food and they can’t wash their cloths. If this was you, what would make this right for you?
