Just finished integrating a full backend system for my music app 🎧 ▪︎ MongoDB + Next.js API routes ▪︎ Server-side rendering for fast homepage ▪︎ Dynamic Trending Artists section ▪︎ Clean separation of server/client components From dummy data → real database-driven UI.

@init_bobjames Yeah bro I got you, I’ll share a quick backend breakdown soon. I’m using Vs Code with a custom file icon theme (Material Icon Theme) + a dark theme for the UI. Makes everything cleaner and easier to navigate when working with bigger projects 🔥

Most beginner devs focus only on coding. I’m learning something different: • Who am I building for? • Why does it matter? • How can it grow? This is what turns projects into real products.

7 days no electricity… but we back. Spent the last week dealing with power outages in my village, couldn’t code much. Not even a device or laptop to help me build. Yesterday, power came back, and I finished building the homepage for my project: HousePulse 🎧🔥

What was the first thing you ever built that made you think “wait… I might actually be good at this”?

@Palak3312 On-site. You get to learn a lot there than in remote. You meat people you can connect with or learn a lot from and grow faster as a dev

@NanouuSymeon Today i will be reviewing my code, and see how i can improve the ui later. Then focus on writing databases schemas for the project and maybe create some APIs and all.
