@FatherlyA @BarryNSmith79 Scenario I’m suggesting is that a student is suspended. You arrange the re-enrolment interview, yet the parent doesn’t turn up. The student is in school. Are you saying you send the student away home or send them to isolation? How long for? What if the parent doesn’t engage?

Why insist on reintegration meetings with same parents again & again & again? Clearly these meetings take up huge amounts of staff time but don’t help change pupil (or parent) behaviour.

A well run isolation room is central to a well run school. There are fundamentals that schools get wrong repeatedly. The most difficult 20% of the school end up in isolation over n over - for years. Same kids. That raises lots of questions.

@Boro The lack of urgency is so frustrating. Play the game as if we would rather not lose than go for the win. Possession for the sake of it. Only one man in the box on most attacks. Could understand this type of system/style if we were up against superior opposition, but we aren’t.

I'm so proud of what we have collectively provided. Given that not 1 £ was paid by a school or a student, I feel this is justified. I need to reflect on whether I can keep this scale of offer free long term but, for now, sincere thanks to everyone that took part.

So, yesterday saw the the GCSE and A-level PE exam series draw to a close. OCR A-level PE Paper 3 was the final exam and took place on Tue 20th June. Therefore, it's time for me to reflect on my revision offer and the feedback we have received in 2023 in order to plan for 2024.
