Thrilled to see The Borrowed Hills won the Lakeland Book Award fiction category! Really was not expecting it. I wrote the book about my home, Cumbria, to honour the history, people, and voices of the Lakeland area, so it’s amazing to see it being recognised like this 🧡🐑🐑🐑
