@DavidBa04621745 @fqArkansas KJ literally owns the program’s record books for QBs. The odds of us pulling out a more successful QB next year is slim at best. I don’t know if the team quit on him or vice versa, but clearly it was time for a change. We have to move on, but let’s not forget how good he is.

Alright now that KJ has announced: He told staff (after Bobby was hired) that he planned on entering. SP told BP it was up to him how he wanted to handle it. BP pretty much said if you change your mind, fine. If you go to portal, fine. Was not pushed but was not pressured to stay Last Dec. KJ signed a lucrative NIL with an Arkansas company (a bank) that was for a year long. If he hit the portal, his monthly check would end. He did his monthly contract requirements, and was still in Arkansas’ roster so he full-filled his part. He was waiting on his last check to hit before announcing. So that’s why he took so long to announce anything.

If Arkansas were to pull off an upset of Missouri with a good offensive performance Pittman might make an announcement about promoting Guiton. On the other hand if the game is not close and the Hogs struggle offensively the way they did against MSU & Auburn it's possible that Pittman will talk about the search for an outside replacement without naming names.
