Happy #OldRockDay. In 1787 geologist James Hutton spotted rocks near Jedburgh, Scotland tilted vertically and covered by horizontal layers of red sandstone - making Earth older than previously thought. His findings were as important as Darwin's evolution theory 64 years later.
