Am I nuts or is this feeling like a disaster?

@kpottermn Hear hear. If anybody mentions "Last Jedi isn't a bad movie" pitchforks come out and logic goes out the window.

The absolute worst part of The Last Jedi is that the childish backlash to a genuinely good film led directly to The Rise of Skywalker, which is an absolute abomination of a movie.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
Luke Skywalker’s stand on Crait in The Last Jedi (2017) had the whole theater locked.

@scientologyruns Yeah... scientology has a massive history of harassment and using stalking and social pressure tactics. Hell, they even successfully harassed the IRS in the 90s to maintain their religious exemption tax status (look it up). Keep your masks up young ones, stay strong, stay safe

@ArtCandee The dude is mentioned in the Epstein files more than Harry Potter in Harry Potter. Why is anybody readying a post that's as long as a Harry Potter novel to reiterate what we already knew? Pop pop has brain rot. He'd either rant vs do his job.

@RyanSaavedra In case it wasn't abundantly clear at this stage-none of these media talking heads are your friends. They deserve none of your loyalty & will exchange everything you have to offer for a millisecond of time being relevant or trending. Kill your heroes. You're being used by frauds

NYT: "You've been talking on your show about whether Trump is the Antichrist"
Tucker Carlson: "I have not said that"
NYT: You said, "Here's a leader mocking the Gods of his ancestors, mocking the God of Gods, and exalting himself above them. Could this be the Antichrist?"
TC: "I actually did not say 'could this be the Antichrist?'"
NYT: ***plays clip of him saying exactly that***
TC: "I don't know where that comes from, but I know those words never left my lips"

@DocBrownLloyd Yes! I'll be on the lookout, love your art and impact on my passion for cinema and storytelling! Thanks for sharing your gift and writing about your journey :)

@regroundd Agree, but I both slightly understand and am massively impacted by the planetary pull of screens as a factor of modernity - with serious $ & forces against us. "Your Stone Age Brain in the Screen Age" by the gifted @Cytowic is a shocking/enlightening read youtube.com/watch?v=t0qq9R…

@ScottyZim I wish people would wake up and realize how damaging excess social media usage/addiction and scrolling is for our society. How unbelievable that an average person has 6 to 7 hours screen time every single day, wasting years from their overall lifetime.
English

I expect one day we will look at social media use/screen addiction in a same lense as we do cigarettes (now vs 50s).
Any tech use comes with a debt.
Who's fronting the bill?

Mark Zuckerberg says he'll pull his apps out of New Mexico if the state forces Meta to make them less addictive. theverge.com/policy/921557/…

“We need to be needed. That’s the essence of human dignity.”
This idea sits at the heart of how I think about work. Joy doesn’t come from perks or power. It comes from earned success, the belief that you’re creating value with your life, and from service to others, which gives that success meaning.
We all want to feel that our work counts. But that feeling doesn’t arise from a well-written mission statement or a polished culture deck.
“Meaning isn’t inherited. It’s built, reinforced, and modeled.”
People need to see that they’re assets, not liabilities to be managed. A good leader makes this visible. They help others see how their work creates value in someone else’s life, and remind them that’s what makes it all worthwhile.
If you’re leading a team, here are three questions worth asking:
1. Can each person on my team explain how their work helps someone else live better?
2. Do I connect effort to outcomes in the way I give feedback and praise?
3. Am I reinforcing a culture where service is seen as success, not just status or output?
You can’t be truly happy unless you can answer yes to the question: “Am I needed?”
That question isn’t just for individuals; it’s for leaders to ask on behalf of their teams.

@ScottyZim @DreamLeaf5 You get your thetan levels measured and then get charged $200 for the privilege, and, “tada!” you’re no longer depressed! All praise be to Lord Xenu, cleanser of the soul!! 😅

Why is everyone trolling Scientology lately 😂
Anonymous@YourAnonCentral
Scientology is really going through a rough one this season; it’s only going to get worse.

@FilmThePoliceLA My hope, there are legal cases the church of scientology presses for legal protections, in discovery, its reveled they actually don't operate as a religious org, they end up losing their 501c3 status they've kept since bulling the IRS in the 90s. Bravo gen z
English

@DreamLeaf5 @ThatLoganJames Yep, Xenu, the galactic alien leader, pulled a bunch of souls from a prison planet and took them to a volcano on earth and they got blown up/spread out all around the world, so that's why you have to pay them to clean those naughty souls off you for $10k per audit.

@ThatLoganJames Wait they believe alien shit? I actually have no idea what the believe lmao
