@SeanDOlfc He needs moving from LW, for sure. But to 9 isn't it. He's slow both in terms of pace and on the ball maneuvering. We're covered in the CAM/CF, and I don't want to lose Wirtz' pocket finding prowess to stick him on a wing just to fit Gakpo into the XI.

I think this is completely reasonable tbh. Buying a striker would be a panic purchase. Gakpo looked better at nine against Fulham then he’s looked all season and we are desperate for wingers as a priority.

@Corballyred Whilst game tactics would reduce injuries to an extent, the explosive injuries (like Hugo's) would be a higher risk due to players going from walk/stop to explosive pace. Add to that the limited amount of training thats happening (& how lax it is when training is occuring) is 🫠

Remember when we were told Slot's slower football would mean fewer injuries than Klopp's high intensity style? Close to 40 separate injuries later how’s that working out? Serious questions need to be asked about the players’ conditioning under Slot. Too much time in the coffee bar & not enough on the pitch maybe👍
