@GoshCarter @JetsFaninPhilly @JetCastPod I’m a huge Clemson fan. Nobody works harder than Cade and he’s a genuinely great person. He’s got generational arm talent. He’s also got some pretty fast wheels. His problem is he suffers from happy feet at times.

@JetsFaninPhilly @JetCastPod He was average reg pressers he didn’t speak authentically with passion like this guy, this guy seems to have a little extra than any qb we’ve drafted in my memory at least press wise as a rookie. When did Zach ever go into detail in a manner where you believe they’re all gelling

I could use some help... I came back to church after years away and I'm still figuring a lot of it out... but what is going on with the "Christian Leftists"???? These are people who know Scripture better than I do... but the SAME PEOPLE turn around and tell me a kid in elementary school can know 100% that they were born in the wrong body. That puberty blockers are healthcare. That get flustered and extremely angry at any reasonable question I throw at them about it. That actually to question any of it is a form of sin in someway? These people will literally say the church is too White. As if whiteness itself is a big problem or a sin and that we need to repent of being white, and fix it in a room full of people who showed up to worship Jesus. Can someone explain this to me? How on earth does this make any sense from someone who is supposed to be a Christian? How did these Christians get to this place? How did a faith built on the goodness of creation, the dignity of the body, the truth that every person bears the image of God regardless of skin, end up getting SO sucked into these Leftist slogans? What I notice is that every position the Christian left holds happens to track PERFECTLY aligns with the cultural arguments of the Leftist political movement. Every single one. Trans kids. Race. Sexuality. Borders. Guns. Climate. And they'll use the Bible, in genuinely bizarre fashion and slogans to uphold these political beliefs. Like "love thy neighbor" for example, to say that illegal immigrants didn't do anything wrong. "The least of these" somehow means trans kids or something? "Turn the other cheek" somehow means that criminals should never be held accountable for crimes. It seems, and I could be wrong, that a LOT of Christians are using politics to shape their faith. Not the other way around Maybe I'm missing something. I'm willing to be wrong. But from where I'm sitting it looks FAR LESS like Christians are wrestling with hard questions and more like a version of Christianity that has agreed to push forward every argument the culture wants it to... What's going on with the Christian church??????

Please pray for Jack, one of the guys in my OCIA class who just got confirmed with me. He's been sober for a while but is currently in the hospital after relapsing. He reached out to our teacher for help and we're praying he continues to seek this help and get into the church's AA meetings 🙏

@CathMaria1977 @TaylorRMarshall It’s a proven fact that Trump was the whistle blower for the FBI on this whole sick enterprise, and if not for Trump, most likely Epstein would still be going strong today. But I know most of you guys don’t like actually facts so carry on

@CathMaria1977 @TaylorRMarshall There has been zero proof of anything you just said. Zero! In fact several victims have said multiple times that Trump had nothing to do with anything. So what you did in fact was slander someone because you don’t like them (tds)

Praying that the full truth about the Epstein files comes to light no protection for the Epstein elitistist especially Trump who horrifically abused and tortured children and continue to get away with it. Praying corruption be held accountable and truth prevail. Good v Evil. I essentially pray for Trump to get out of office.

Not going to play the game of you plopped down scripture and then I plop down counter scripture but I am going to refer you to the early Christians of the early church and how they practice the faith which looks nothing like protestantism: "If you look at the first few centuries of Christianity (roughly 100–400 AD), the evidence is pretty consistent: Christians did ask departed believers—especially martyrs—to pray for them. It wasn’t a late medieval invention; it shows up quite early. 📜 1. Inscriptions in the catacombs (2nd–3rd century) In the Roman catacombs, Christians wrote things like: “Peter and Paul, pray for us” “Pray for your brother…” These weren’t symbolic—they reflect a real belief that those who had died in Christ were still part of the Church and could intercede. 📖 2. Early Christian writings Here are a few clear examples: Origen (c. 184–253 AD) Taught that the saints in heaven pray for those on earth. Cyprian of Carthage (d. 258 AD) Encouraged believers to remember one another in prayer even after death. Cyril of Jerusalem (c. 313–386 AD) Described the Church offering prayers with the saints and martyrs, asking for their help. Augustine of Hippo (354–430 AD) Affirmed that Christians honor martyrs and ask for their prayers. 👉 None of these men treat the idea as controversial—it’s just normal Christian practice by their time. 🙏 3. The oldest known Christian prayer to Mary One of the earliest preserved prayers (around 250 AD) says: “Under your mercy we take refuge, O Mother of God… do not despise our petitions…” This prayer, known as Sub Tuum Praesidium, shows that asking for intercession wasn’t limited to apostles or martyrs—it had already expanded. ⚖️ 4. What this means historically Very early: The practice appears within a couple generations after the apostles. Widespread: Found across different regions (Rome, North Africa, the East). Uncontested: There’s no major record of early Christians arguing against it. That last point is important—when early Christians disagreed on something (like the nature of Christ or baptism), we see debates. On this issue, we mostly see acceptance, not controversy. 🧭 So what did the early Church believe? In simple terms: The Church is one body, including those in heaven. Those who died in Christ are alive and aware. They can pray for believers on earth. Christians felt comfortable asking for those prayers. ⚠️ But here’s the honest nuance Even though the early Church practiced this: They still believed Christ is the ultimate mediator. Intercession of saints was seen as participation in Christ’s work, not a replacement for Him."
