Ruby couldn’t help but smile as she watched Omnigul eagerly devour the ramen, bowl in hand. “You must have been really hungry,” she said with a soft laugh. “Not eating for several days would certainly explain that.” There was concern in her voice as she tilted her head slightly. “If you don’t mind me asking... why haven’t you eaten for so long?” she asked gently. “You don’t have to answer if you’d rather not.” She then turned her attention to Omnigul’s question, her gaze drifting upward toward the open sky. “Not necessarily,” Ruby admitted. “I’ve never really needed someone to accompany me on my adventures.” A small, thoughtful smile crossed her lips. “To be honest, I’ve almost always traveled alone. If people see me out on the road, it’s usually just me.” She looked back at Omnigul. “That doesn’t mean I dislike company, though.” Her smile warmed. “It’s simply... something I’m not used to.” For a brief moment, she chuckled. “So having someone share a meal with me like this is actually a nice change.”
