Week 4 of #3MTT: Confidence in Progress. Old me: "Can I actually build a chat app?" New me: "Which framework is best for the MVP?" Seeing myself less as a student and more as a Digital Architect. The doubt is gone, the hunger to build is here. #My3MTT #3MTTWeeklyReflection

@Minikothe3rd Your twisting the facts and claiming a knowledge that is subject to you not what is objective. No one would engage you with this show of bad faith.

Many people repeat, “The Bible is the word of Jesus,” yet historically and academically this simply isn’t true. Jesus (AS) did not write a single book of the Bible. Not one. Every credible biblical scholar, be it christian, secular, or otherwise, agrees on a few basic facts: 1. Jesus never authored a scripture Unlike the Qur’an, which is recited verbatim from revelation, the Gospels were written decades after Jesus by anonymous authors later assigned names like “Matthew” and “John.” Even Christian scholarship admits: No Gospel was written during Jesus’s lifetime. None were written by eyewitnesses in their original form. 2. Only a tiny fraction of the Bible is direct speech attributed to Jesus Out of the entire Bible, less than 5% contains sayings attributed to Jesus. Even those sayings exist in multiple conflicting versions between manuscripts. This means the overwhelming majority of the Bible consists of: Author commentary Stories written long after the events Letters by Paul (who never met Jesus) As well as theological interpretations, not revelation. 3. Paul’s writings dominate Christianity, not Jesus’s teachings Historically, Paul wrote over half of the New Testament, he introduced doctrines Jesus never preached, such as; trinity, inherited sin, divine sonship in a literal sense, and the abrogation of the Law. In simple terms: Christian doctrine is mostly Paul’s theology, not Jesus’s words. 4. Jesus taught pure monotheism; later writers developed a new theology Even the “red letter” quotes attributed to Jesus emphasize: One God Prayer Obedience to divine law Humility Submission to God (Islam in essence) None of Jesus’s attributed words say: “Worship me,” “I am God,” “Trinity,” “Original sin,” or any modern Christian dogma. These appear in later writings, not in the speech of Jesus himself. 5. If Jesus didn’t write the Bible, whose theology are Christians following? That’s the intellectual tension at the heart of the matter. Christians sincerely believe in Jesus, but the text they follow was written by others, edited over centuries, translated and re-translated, with doctrines shaped by councils and empires, not by Jesus himself. So the real question is simple: Are people following the religion of Jesus? or a religion about Jesus mostly initiated by Paul ? But who is Paul? Also known as Saul of Tarsus, was a Jewish Pharisee who originally persecuted Christians. He became one of the most influential figures in Christianity after Jesus, but he was not a disciple, never met Jesus in his lifetime, and did not learn from him directly.

@FYNEGUY2010 @RasineIrem He's not discrediting church fathers. In fact, in an earlier post, he said he uses Augustian quotes in his sermon. His point is clear, don't be unfair. I mean he literally said, no be me go drag church fathers.

@ScribeofWeb3 @RasineIrem You can address a doctrine and push the truth out there, without being condescending. That's my point. You destroy your message when you major on discrediting the messanger. Hence, your motive is questionable.

If you have the time really go into the writings of these “holy church fathers”, honestly you will thank God for the Bible we have. Because ehn. No be me go drag church fathers another is coming after me that will do that. But don’t let anyone shut you up with the church fathers card. Their works like every theological work today must be subjected to the word. When you do it it’s not every time it will pass. Do you know that as early as the second and third centuries one of the church fathers prescribed that baptism must be done naked? That anyone who is to be baptised must be baptised naked, in public. Do you know why you’ve never heard that but you will hear that same church father quoted when it’s time to reference infant baptism? Agenda.

@FYNEGUY2010 @RasineIrem That's not my point. My point is this, their words must be subjected to scrutiny through the lens of scripture and where it doesn't pass should be avoided. They are not absolute.

@FYNEGUY2010 @RasineIrem Did chur h father shape church history? Yes they did. We're indebted to them. Are they subject to scrutiny, I believe very much so. Their words and works are not "spirit inspired" hence are not sacred un a certain way.

Emmanuel Iren, in his so-called personal opinion (because he doesn’t want to take responsibility for what he truly believes), is blaming the killing of Christians in the North on poverty, as though living in Lagos somehow shields anyone from the growing danger facing Christians across the country. Can you not keep silent and be thought wise?
edel Táyọ̀@SaintAwoleesu

My goodness! Why can't these people just shut up??!!!!! Most of their followers will still see them as wise if they just keep shut!!!!

@ScribeofWeb3 @TraoreStan_001 @gideonodoma Listen, for all you know, that video was just a cut out section of the entire thing he said. Go and watch the full video then maybe you'd get the whole picture. We are too in a hurry to condemn. It is not very nice.

That was dope-difficult & heartbreaking to watch. A vexation of spirit. Some of these our so-called apostles are a blight on the integrity of this faith, a faith that's been defended by Martyrs' blood through the ages. What betrayal!😭 Absolutely disgraceful. Delusional. Devious.

@Dr_Bollus @BryanBryan8848 @UnkleAyo And his ignorance, if so, doesn't excuse the fact that he has to make such an insensitive statement. He has not come to show solidarity, sympathize or condemn the killing of Christians, then he makes such a comment on the matter? Nah... He knows what he's doing .

This was Evangelist Favour John @Evangelistfavo selling groundnuts to host her first crusade in the hinterlands of the North. We are guessing you haven't seen this picture before. Well, it is small compared to what this woman and her team endure to take the gospel to the unreached. It is absolutely thanksgiving-worthy what this woman has submitted her life to just to make sure Christ is lifted in people's hearts. Brethren, we talk with her from time to time. It is no joke what she and her team go through over there. There have been times when assailants were sent to sexually assault her. It was God who delivered her. Did you know that powerful people from the FCT send their representatives to the villages she evangelizes at? All that was to stop her from reaching the Muslim community to preach to them. In fact, many of her discipleship efforts are done covertly to avoid fierce religious opposition. But guess what guys? She is joyed in all these! She tells us that's her food, her purpose, joy, and life. To take the gospel to the unreached. However, their efforts there need funds. Lots and lots of funds. They rent virtually everything they use. From sound to tools and everything. They also conduct CSR too. All for the gospel. If you can, please be a part of this. How? Because he is teaching in influence? You call influence a vain thing? What else is vain? Wealth? Who else to have influence if not believers? Who else can stand for truth if not believers and how do believers stand for truth at a significant level without influence? Anyway it's a long conversation. I leave you to your thoughts.

@iAmPODii @TraoreStan_001 @gideonodoma For all the dominion that exists, Christuans are being killed and some Christians can still claim that there's no genocide.
