@Blesing_Andrew Midfield was the issue for the good spell Liverpool had. Mainoo & Casemiro getting caught ahead of the ball on numerous occasions. The two Liverpool goals were unacceptable individual errors.

Szoboszlai and Gakpo punished us with two quick goals and suddenly Old Trafford went quiet. Our backline is STILL inconsistent and shaken: no structure, no leadership, just panic. Thank God Kobbie Mainoo stepped up with that thunderous 77th-minute winner to make it 3-2 and seal Champions League football. Hero. But winning like this is not sustainable. We’re gifting teams comebacks every other week. Fix the defence or these “great escapes” will turn into dropped points real soon. What’s your take, United fans? Is the defence the biggest problem right now or is it deeper than that?

@SamRathbone95 @FPLfrasier Most basic referee training would suggest he gives the penalty in those instances. Because, by playing advantage in the box, he’s turned an 80% goal into a 25-40% & you can’t bring it back. If he thinks it’s a pen, he’s made the wrong call.
