Charles Oakley sued James Dolan & lost Charles Oakley WAS invited back to MSG by James Dolan & declined Charles Oakley has been on every major podcast & taken shots at James Dolan Charles Oakley even took PUBLIC shots at his ex teammates like Patrick Ewing, John Starks & Larry Johnson So stop saying Oak should be back at MSG for the NBA Finals because he won’t be back & imo should not be back… This is coming from someone who idolized the 90s Knicks & the Oak Man but times have changed. Same with Marv Albert, you can’t lose your job in EMBARRASSING fashion the way he did then take so many below the belt shots at James Dolan & the organization then expect to be welcomed back. Reconciliation can always happen, hell even Katt Williams and Kevin Hart squashed it but save it for next year. Have Oak raise a banner & welcome him home or something if both sides are willing to squash it…what a moment that would be…but Oak is too stubborn to let it go… But right now it’s NOT about Oak or Marv or anyone in the past that has “beef” with the team… it is about the 2026 New York Knicks winning it all…. 11/ Now add a massive rest advantage over whoever survives an OKC vs SAS war that’s already going at least 6 games (with key players on both teams banged up, meanwhile OG fully healthy for the Knicks), and the case becomes very hard to argue against.
