Yes because choosing to root for the Yankees if you are not born into it is proof of defective character. This is less about "the gentrifier laptop class" and more about "anyone with a moral center would not willingly choose to root for the Yankees." I would personally be thrilled so many good and ethical people were moving to my city!

The Mets fan base doesn't really send its best, so I'll explain my point as plainly as I can: of course, there are NY native Mets fans. Many, many. But if you are a gentrifier laptop class individual, pure transplant, the odds are you are a Mets fan.

@Sdoy23 No, a lot of what’s happening now is uniquely terrible and would not be happening in a Democratic administration.
It wouldn’t be a utopia and a lot of awful things would still be happening, but the past year has been damaging in a way that might take decades to repair.
