My school literally bought “motivational rocks” for our #mentalhealth
At least if it was pizza we could have had a free lunch but like what am I supposed to do with a rock that says “believe”

@DewarDeanne Why is Hillsong using the term "non-negative" instead of the word "positive"? What are they hoping to achieve by messing with language like that? Is is just wanting to be "touch-feely" less threatening, or is it something more sinister/legalistic?

They got RATs not just for that Festival. They got them for ALL THE FESTIVALS AROUND THE COUNTRY
Have I said how much I abhor this government?
jackson langford@jacksonlangford
thought you were pissed about hillsong going forth but music festivals banned? wait til you find out they got access to enough RATs to distribute to all "kids, youth, leaders and volunteers" that attend the summercamp events (see: festivals) all around the country this month

The ‘omicron is mild’ language is very Orwellian, it may be milder per case but the sheer number of cases is overwhelming health services and what health professionals are having to cope with is not mild in the least. Thanks @MarylouiseMcla1 for the clear table

Yes the hand washing of re-use single use COVID face shields has been raised with SASMOA by doctors - distressing, disturbing and unsafe when easy access to appropriate PPE for health workers in a pandemic is not easily accessible.

It's claimed nurses in Adelaide's crowded hospitals are being asked to hand wash and re-use single use COVID face shields when appropriate PPE isn't available. #9News

Same is happening in @sahealth hospitals. In my area the the doffing of PPE used for the sickest patients is done in a high public traffic area corridor. We are out of medical waste bins with lids so PPE goes in whatever bin (if any) is available and is uncovered.
