A “security group” around the Rusholme and Victoria Park area near Manchester Central Mosque has decided to start their own security firm.
“Manchester Community Watch” started as a WhatsApp group for reporting “unjust behavior” against minorities.
It quickly grew to over 130 verified recruits through a strict ID + selfie verification process to keep out bad actors.
The group has now applied for Security Industry Authority licences so they can operate legally as a private security firm.

Let’s be clear: Recruiting children into military activity is a violation of international laws and the international community must not stay silent. The Sphinx we know has been exposed for thousands of years of wind erosion, water damage, vandalism, military target practice, and multiple restorations.
The nose is gone. The body is weathered beyond recognition in places.
The head is disproportionately small compared to the body, which many researchers believe suggests it was recarved from something larger and older.
A buried twin may have none of that.
No erosion. No reshaping. No political restorations. Just the original form, exactly as it was built, sealed under sand.
We might finally see what the head originally looked like. We might see inscriptions or surface details that weathered off the original thousands of years ago.
We might get answers to questions the exposed Sphinx can no longer give us.
