@Jensen_Utah This is how they build the progressive-left leaning base. Break away from traditional style neighborhoods to crackerbox life where you have no interest in schools etc. these types of developments rarely age well.

@phil_lyman How is Utah right behind Washington??? It makes no sense. If WA is slightly higher, then I guess I suck it up here until retirement because at least I have clean air, water, and a lot more clean air. Utah is knocking to have same problems as the PNW but dirty air.

Look at this map and tell me Utah is winning. We're sitting at $64,400 just to reach the lower end of middle class, higher than most of the heartland and only a hair behind failing blue strongholds like California and New York. This isn't success; it's a warning. Uncontrolled growth and immigration, exploding housing costs, and out-of-control government spending are squeezing Utah families out of the American Dream we built here. While other states thrive with lower barriers, Utahns are working harder just to stay even. It's time for real change before our kids can't afford to stay in the greatest state in America.

🚨Utah's housing crisis is crushing young people. It now takes the average household 14.2 years to save for a 10% down payment on a median home, far worse than many states and a brutal reality for Millennials and Gen Z. Skyrocketing prices, chronic housing shortages, explosive population growth, and heavy regulations have made homeownership nearly impossible for young Utahns. Most are locked out, stuck renting forever while watching the American Dream slip away in their own state. Utah is failing its next generation.

Can we all agree that in a world of influencers, Z-listers, TikToks, badly acted ads, brand collabs, people filming themselves crying…the Artemis livestream of 4 middle-aged scientists doing their jobs is genuinely the best most authentic content of the century? Thanks @NASA🌚

Dead whales don’t usually talk. But one did symbolically tuesday when it died at the foot of the March Point refinery. Gray whales are starving to death due to climate change caused by oil pollution. Whales need clean energy. So do we. seattletimes.com/seattle-news/c…

@NormieUtah I knew BYU/state was heading downhill when the BYU lettering was painted in PRIDE colors. You become what you allow. I live in WA now…I see quite a few cars with BYU stickers and LGBTQ…stickers. It is the craziest thing to me. And I lived in Utah from 1972-2020

BYU employs a sociology professor, Jacob Rugh, whose principle job is to generate leftwing partisan campaign content and advocacy materials for Democrats. A full time Democrat operative working on the BYU payroll.🤔 It’s stunning to me. I can’t think of any Republican equivalent at any University in the entire country. Seriously. Not one. Maybe some guy at Liberty? So BYU is doing this on the left for Democrats and Liberty on the right. Do I have that correct?

Today in Eden, we ceremonially signed a set of bills focused on one thing: better outcomes for Utah students. Together with students from Valley Elementary, we reaffirmed our commitment to early literacy, better use of technology, and giving every student the tools they need to succeed. We’re investing in our kids, and making sure those investments actually deliver results.

Voting is the foundation of our democracy. A right that was secured through the immense courage of heroes who faced violence to ensure our voices could be heard. Regardless of your party, having your voice heard is the only way to protect our future and ensure that no single leader can dictate the terms of our freedom.

@AGOWA Maybe because hourly wages go up here along with taxes so they think they need to raise costs to cover. Pretty basic math. But you are just an AG and that profession has proven to be filled by idiots.

The costs of living are out of control, and the last thing Washingtonians need are unjustified hikes to their utility bills. And yet, in August, Northwest Natural Gas wants to increase gas rates by 19% for 90,000 Washingtonians in the Vancouver area. This increase is not fair, just, or reasonable, and we’re fighting back. Utility companies provide critical services, but the push for profits should not forced onto the backs of captive consumers. atg.wa.gov/news/news-rele…

Thousands of people across the state are disenrolling from health insurance amid spiking costs, according to the latest available data from the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, which runs the state’s health insurance marketplace. This comes after changing federal policies and the expiration of pandemic-era tax credits that helped lower premiums for plans through the Affordable Care Act. KOMO News reporter Jackie Kent looked into the impact it has made on Washington families: bit.ly/48pNfrx
