@SaltyDZ @Thor_Odinson but yeah setting, worldbuilding, amount of continuities with their own takes on ideas/designs, size and (from what I've seen) relative chillness of the fandom. continuities range from preschooler to adult, so there's just stuff for everyone (wide net = big fandom = popular IP).

@Sea_Agate @Thor_Odinson yeah i can understand to be a robot fan and to like collecting stuff it's just that from my perspective there is a shit ton of other robot stuff better than transformers so i was curious why this licence still appeal a lot of people other than children

I got my first Dramatic Series box in. I got it mostly for the Shockwave and Soundwave redecos, but the paint scheme on Megatron is nice. Although frankly, the figure itself remains garbage. I can’t wait to replace it in my collection with Studio Series 86 Megatron.

@SaltyDZ @Thor_Odinson A lot of other robot stuff is mecha I think? So ig personally I don't like people in robots, but I like robots that are people? Why watch The Owl House when there are magic shows for older audiences? We just like the vibe.

@GooseworxMusic you've taken what was a misunderstood, wildly successful pilot beyond anyone's expectations and made people over the course of the past 3 episodes to begin to critically think about what they're watching for once by putting this characterization and worldbuilding front and centre
