Head Teacher's Award to Dima Makwan! She exemplified kindness, integrity, & pride, showing remarkable resilience in adapting to a new curriculum while learning English. Her dedication led to 7 GCSEs at Grade 7+, including a Grade 8 in English Lit! Well done! #SHSAwards2025

School Ethos Award is Megan R Demonstrated exceptional kindness, 100% attendance/positive behaviour, and proudly represented England at the World Shotokan Karate Championship! #SHSAwards2025

Final Ambassador Award is Cora R. The ultimate student ambassador who exudes kindness, integrity, and pride. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. #SHSAwards2025

Seaham High School Community Award is Amisha W. A dedicated young volunteer at The Youth Hub, serving as a mentor and positive role model in her free time. #SHSAwards2025

Duke of Edinburgh Award is Sebastian D. Showed excellent dedication to the Silver award, great volunteering skills, and resilience on the expedition. #SHSAwards2025

Seaham High School 6R Award is Freddie B! He embodies the 6Rs (Resilience, Respect, Risk-taker, Reflective, Responsive, Responsible) and achieved the most points (2333) in the whole school! #SHSAwards2025

Support Student of the Year is James R. He has grown tremendously, with improved emotional awareness and independence to manage his emotions effectively. #SHSAwards2025

Sportsmanship in PE Award is Darcey F! She embodies respect, teamwork, and integrity, supporting others with an absolute love of sport. #SHSAwards2025

PE Student of the Year is Charlotte H! Consistently demonstrated outstanding effort, skill, and achieved the highest grade in BTEC Sport last year. #SHSAwards2025

PE Awards go to Charlotte J (100% effort, fantastic teamwork) and Ryan D (a model student for 5 years, positive attitude, excellent BTEC Sport work). #SHSAwards2025

Tommy Award for Musician of the Year is Jasmine R! Talented guitarist/vocalist, outstanding commitment to every show, achieved Distinction in BTEC & Grade 6 Singing. #SHSAwards2025
