But the fact there were volunteers having to work for hours to remove surface water is probably the sort of update that would have been useful and help people know chance of going ahead/adjust travel plans accordingly

@Sean089 @Moler2000 @LeatherheadFC I can say first hand that the pitch looked playable at 4pm , the volunteers worked hard for hours to remove the surface water. Sadly the downpour from 5pm meant that the decision was going to be later than we had hoped , pending the referees decision

GAME OFF 🚨 Unfortunately due to the heavy downpour over the last few hours today’s game has been postponed. A date for the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course when arranged.
