The 2024 TEA Index is out with attendance numbers for theme parks and attractions 🎢 The busiest theme park in Europe is still Disneyland Park with over 10.2m visitors. Europa Park comes in second with 6.2m and Efteling with 5.6m. Alton Towers comes in with 2.5m visitors!

Ticket companies know what they are doing. The "buzz" of getting into the buy phase after 4 hrs is the same dopamine hit gamblers experience. At that stage, £150 to £400 price rise no longer is a choice, it's an impulse buy. An unethical/should be illegal business practice.

Our teams are working hard to get the ride open safely today, however this is not guaranteed. Please see app for updates" And post that on the app so people can make a decision about leaving home

@sth93 @THORPEPARK @izzidaniels05 This!! Social media they’re saying it might open today, on park the hyperia staff are saying maybe at the end of the day, and then all the signage says closed all day, aside from the app which just says closed. There’s no coherent answer
