In an attempt to disenfranchise Libertarians, a rogue group of party members overtook an illegitimate convention that was not properly noticed. Party bylaws and state law require that notice be published in a newspaper with circulation in every county where a Libertarian resides, no later than 15 days before the convention, thereby voiding the Holyoke convention. This issue was addressed in multiple emails sent to party members once the failure to properly notify was discovered, leading up to the cancellation date. Chairwoman Hannah Goodman attempted to close the convention and void the improperly noticed event, but National Secretary Caryn Ann Harlos and National Judiciary Committee member Marc Montoni, acting as Convention Chair pro tem, led the effort to overtake and conduct this fraudulent convention, which is unlikely to hold up in a court of law. Even more concerning are Harlos and Montoni’s national leadership positions within the party.

@LPCO Colorado Libertarians are smart enough to see who really has been attempting to disenfranchise them for the past year. After the many failed attempts to pass resolutions that blatantly disregarded the will of the Members and the Bylaws, the board is suddenly worried about them?

#NoKings. Yeah, that’s great. I am fully in support of the movement. But why are we suddenly alarmed at the expansion of the Executive Branch as if we haven’t had Presidents acting like kings since Woodrow Wilson?

My politics are basically just cringing at everyone and everything.
