Xbox needs to move faster, deepen our connection with the community, and address friction for both players and developers. Today, we promoted leaders who helped build Xbox, while also bringing in new voices to help push us forward. This balance is important as we get the business back on track. As part of this shift, you’ll see us begin to retire features that don’t align with where we’re headed. We will begin winding down Copilot on mobile and will stop development of Copilot on console.

Twitch's recent change to storage limits for Highlights is affecting me as well - I'll be spending the next 2 months-ish exporting around 1000 hours worth of streams to a new YouTube channel. Honestly, Twitch's video/highlighting features are a buggy mess anyway. Happy to move.

People rediscovering that lower def video game graphics often had better and more memorable aesthetics is just another instance of people realizing what the essence of cartooning is. What boiling a visual down to its pure essence through process (and in the case of limited graphical capability, necessity) of elimination was. Creative and ingenious solutions to visual communications problems are bolstered through limitation, and those solutions are often timeless, brilliant and truthful.

You look at games like Fortnite and Roblox, and you can’t help but think why Sony wouldn’t invest in their own creative platform using one of their existing/a new IP. Especially when they were one of the first to the scene with what some of their own studios were putting out.

I’d be very interested to see what a current/next-gen LittleBigPlanet game looks like with these monetisation options, and whether it could still succeed today. I feel like Sony were ahead of this game, but how they seem so far behind.
