Good morning, I escalated the lack of power to the Eskom CEO's office last night and they responded accordingly. Basically they said that with all the storms and loadshedding many of their resources needed some rest, repairs will continue today. I am in the same situation. 26 +

#EskomGauteng #GautengOutagesUpdate We are experiencing challenges restoring supply to Broadacres, Douglasdale, Fourways, Lonehill, Muldersdrift and Paulshof. At this stage we are unable to give an ETR. We are doing our best to ensure that supply is restored.

It is a national entity just like SAPS, Prasa etc. We as councillors just try and provide feedback to the residents when we receive communication from Eskom. Which suburb/area are you in?

Good morning, repairs have been completed, water has been turned on, low lying areas will get water first. It is already on in some areas. It will take some time to restore to all areas. Apologies for the longer than expected time but the team wanted to complete the job properly.

Just been onsite at the Cedar and Witkoppen water pipecclose off. The pipe has been cut and now the one end will be welded closed as it is the end of the line. It will still take a number of hours. Water will be restored thereafter.
