Glad to announce the publication of my latest article "Banter as Transformative Practice" in HUMOR. It delves into the sociolinguistic strategies of young swimmers as they learn to engage in linguistic play and create joking realtionships. degruyter.com/document/doi/1…

It's #WorldWaterWeek so I'm speaking about forms of waves and water as agentic partners in forms of play. Outdoor swimming is more productive to think relationships and relationality with than simply going for a dip!
