I was contacted by our great local football club @WaysideCeltic to see if there was a way of increasing their current 9 a side football pitch into a full size football pitch to help support the expansion of the club. Given the increasing population in our area I was very happy to propose a motion to support this idea to see if it would be possible to expand the pitch and have this included in the Kilternan - Glenamuck Local Area Plan. It was great to see all the local councillors in our area come together to co-propose and support one motion to show our overwhelming support as local representatives to @WaysideCeltic for the amazing work they do for our community. I will continue to do all I can as a local councillor and also as a board member of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership to support our great local sports clubs. #Local #Community #Sports
