It's GAME DAY!!! The SHS Lady Lions soccer team is leaving for Benton to play in the state 5A championship! They are leaving SHS and traveling down Beebe Capps Expressway with a police escort! Come out and help celebrate them out of town. GO LADY LIONS!

All Arkansas esports competitions are having their Championships tomorrow (Tuesday) throughout the day. Searcy will be competing in the Mario Kart Championship at 11:30. It should be streamed from both Twitch and Youtube with Sam Neely commentating the match. Go Lions!!

Athletic Update: Today's baseball varsity double header against Jonesboro has been postponed until Wednesday at 4:30 in Searcy.

We are sorry for the late notice, but due to a conflict with the Senior Awards Ceremony (6pm) the concert has been moved back one hour (to 7pm). Parents with students in both events can make both. Call times - 8th grade: 6:30pm. 6th and 7th: 6:45pm.

The Championship game is currently planned for Saturday, May 7th at 11:30 against Fort Smith Northside. In case you missed it here is a recording of the game: youtu.be/O3K9El97u3A.

Mario Kart 8 won the semifinals! All the players were awesome! Big Thank you to Jacob Schowe, Phoenix Pruitt, Jordan Jones, Dakota Hood, Ladarius Woodruff, and subs Isaas Neely, Lola Simons, and JD Kirby!

Unfortunately, Smash team was upset in the previous round, but Mario Kart is still going strong. They compete against ASMSA at 4:30 today in the semifinals-streaming at twitch.tv/searcyesports . The winner faces Ft. Smith Northside for the Championship on May 7th.
